Stalker's Quiver
Increases arrow damage by 10% and greatly increases arrow speed 20% chance not to consume arrows Enemies are less likely to target you
How to craft it
what you are buying with the slot
It folds arrow amplification together with a reduction in how much enemies want to target you. The aggro half means little in single player. In multiplayer it is genuinely useful, because pushing enemy attention toward a tankier teammate keeps a ranger alive through fights that would otherwise chase them around the arena.
what it does not give you
The damage and critical strike bonuses on the Putrid Scent do not survive the upgrade. If you were wearing the scent for those numbers, this trades raw output for the quiver effect, and on a build with no aggro problem that trade is not obviously in your favor.
stacking
- The arrow damage bonus adds on top of a plain Magic Quiver or a Molten Quiver if you wear more than one of them.
- The velocity and ammo saving halves do not stack. Two quivers give you one copy of each.
- The velocity boost does nothing for arrows that already travel at the boosted rate. Jester's, Ichor and Venom arrows, stakes, and the special shots fired by Marrow, the Ice Bow, the Pulse Bow, Aerial Bane, Blood Rain Bow and Phantasm are all in that group, so pairing this with those weapons leaves you only the damage and the savings.
