Being launched away from whatever just clipped you is exactly what you need to reset spacing on a boss, and it fires on any real hit, including one you took deliberately to trigger it.

Every honey accessory shares one effect between them. Honey Balloon, Bee Cloak, Honey Comb, Stinger Necklace and the Amber Horseshoe Balloon all produce the same bees and the same honey buff no matter how many you wear at once. A second one is a wasted slot. Pick whichever version bundles the other stat you actually want and forget the rest.

Damage over time does nothing here. Burning, poison, and anything else that ticks will not set it off, so you cannot keep the speed running by standing in a fire. It needs a real hit from a real source.
