Summons sharknados to fight for you
The sharknado will fight for you
Dropped by
how it fights
The tornado parks itself against whatever you are attacking and does two jobs at once. It grinds away with contact damage as long as it stays in the enemy, and it spits little sharks outward while it does. Those sharks launch quickly and then start falling, so at range they land where the target used to be rather than where it is heading.
where it shines and where it does not
Against slow or stationary targets both halves of the attack connect and the total is excellent for the point in the game where you get it. Against anything that dashes across the arena, the projectiles mostly miss and you are left with the contact damage only. It ignores terrain entirely, which means it will happily chase enemies through a wall while you fight from behind cover, and it makes it one of the better minions for cramped underground work.
the drop
Duke Fishron is a hard fight for the tier it opens at, and this is the piece of his loot most worth rerunning him for if you are playing summoner. Everything else he drops is a direct weapon, so this is the one that changes your build rather than your damage number.
naming
The minion is a nod to the 2013 disaster film about a tornado full of sharks. It is also the only weapon Fishron gives up that does not wear his color scheme.
