Tin Plating
How to craft it
Used to craft
building with it
A riveted metal panel rather than a brick, which puts it in the small group of blocks that read as machinery instead of masonry. The tin version is cooler and grayer than Copper Plating, so it suits pipework, airship hulls and anything meant to look weathered rather than polished. Which of the two your world hands you is settled at generation.
trivia
- Tin was almost never a building surface on its own in the real world. It went on as a thin coating over iron to stop it rusting, which is why so called tin roofs are usually iron underneath.
