Toucan

Toucans sit high in the jungle canopy during daylight, and shaking mahogany trees will occasionally turn one out along with everything else that falls. If you already keep a jungle tree farm you will run into them without trying.

They are one of the critters that turn on you when your luck goes negative, so a bad fortune reading can leave a bird pecking at you in the branches. Unlike most birds it cannot be cooked, so the only things to do with one are cage it or tick the bestiary.

The bestiary line about looping through the trees after fruit is a nod to a certain breakfast cereal mascot.
