Weather Vane

This one has conditions. It has to sit at surface height or above, and it needs open sky behind it, so the moment you tuck it into a decorated wall it stops moving and becomes a static sprite. Put it on a roof ridge or the top of a tower where there is nothing behind it.

During a Windy Day it turns to face the direction the wind is blowing. That is a real readout rather than decoration. You can glance at the roof instead of watching which way the loose balloons and kites are dragging before you set off.
