World Globe

It rerolls the background of whatever biome you are standing in, at random, and the change sticks for that world until you throw another one. There is no picker, so getting a background you actually want means buying several and throwing them until something lands.

Being underground does not stop it. Throw one in the underground jungle and the surface jungle changes, because that is where the background lives. The underworld is the exception, and its moving backdrop is altered directly.

Hallowed tree styles follow the hallow background, so this is the item that changes them rather than the Tree Globe. That one catches people out.

The game files count it as a ranged item, so armor sets with ammo conservation will occasionally save you one. Quivers, ammo boxes and the conservation potion do nothing for it.

The Zoologist only stocks these once your bestiary is half filled, which is a lot of catching, killing and fishing. Redecorating is a late hobby for a reason.
