Solar Flare

This is not something that spawns on its own. Drakomires throw it, and they only patrol the ground around the Solar Pillar during the lunar events, so the flare exists purely as part of that fight. Deal with the thing that fired it and no more arrive.

The game counts it as an enemy rather than a projectile, and that is the detail worth having. Any weapon at all removes one, so a wide swing or a spread of shots clears the ground in front of you without you having to dodge anything. That is what separates it from the spheres the Evolution Beasts put out at the nebula pillar, which look similar and cannot be handled the same way. One side effect: destroying a flare adds to the drakomire count on the Tally Counter instead of logging anything of its own.
