Bleeding does not drain your health, it stops you regenerating it. That makes this a situational accessory rather than a safety net. In a boss fight where you are dodging and drinking potions anyway, blocking it changes almost nothing. While you are exploring a dungeon or an ocean cave and leaning on passive regen between fights, it changes a lot, because one werewolf can leave you walking around at half health for a long stretch.

Throwing a Bezoar into Shimmer turns it into this, and the swap works both ways. That gives you one object holding either poison or bleeding immunity depending on where you are going, and it lifts the item into pre-Hardmode entirely. Old console and 3DS builds do not have that, so there you wait for the drops.

Do not sell spares. This is a rung on the ladder toward the Ankh Shield, and rebuying immunity trinkets later is far more annoying than storing them now.
