Blackcurrant

Blackcurrants shake out of ebonwood, so a Crimson world will never produce one on its own. Filling out a food collection there means visiting another world or planting Corruption saplings on purpose, which is more work than any other fruit asks of you.

As a food it is the same buff every other fruit gives, so eating one is never the reason to hunt for it. Keep a few for Shimmer instead, since fruit turned into Ambrosia is a better buff than any of the ingredients that went in.

The berry it is named after is a real shrub from northern Europe and Asia, which is an odd origin for something growing out of Corruption.
