The Zoologist sells both parts, but only on the right nights. Her stock reads the moon, and the ears and the tail show up on a first quarter or a waxing gibbous, which is two phases out of eight. If they are missing from her list, the fix is to wait a couple of nights rather than to go looking anywhere else. She has to have moved in first, which means filling out a decent chunk of the Bestiary before any of this is available.

Both are cosmetic accessories, so they go in the social accessory slots and leave your working ones alone. Reforging is a waste of coins here since there is no stat hiding under the appearance to improve.

The line on the tail is Thumper from Bambi, the rabbit with the advice about saying nothing at all if you cannot say something nice.
