How to craft it
it works like a drill
Hold it against a tile and it grinds continuously instead of swinging on a timer. Raw throughput is higher than a swung hammer, but you give up reach for it, so you end up standing closer to the work than you are used to. The change is easy to feel the first time you try to knock out a ceiling above you.
bad at precision, good at demolition
Hammering cycles a block through its slope shapes, and a fast continuous tool cycles them fast. Landing on one specific half block takes a much lighter touch here than with a slow hammer. For bulk work, flattening an arena floor or tearing down background walls, that speed is exactly what you want.
reforging
Mechanical tools cannot roll speed, so the modifier pool is short and the best options tie with each other. Reroll once for the sake of it and move on.
