Ebonwood Bow

This is the Corruption side of the early wooden bows and is the same weapon as the Crimson version, the Shadewood Bow, with a different grain. It is a step above a plain Wooden Bow and nothing more, so it is a first day weapon you build because ebonwood is what your world gave you.

It applies no knockback at all, which quietly removes every knockback modifier from the pool. Fewer possible results means rerolling lands on the top option faster and cheaper than on most weapons, so a few coins spent here go further than usual. Replace the bow itself the moment a chest or an ore tier hands you something better.
