Gold Butterfly

It is a rare gilded version of the common butterfly, and it flutters away exactly like the ordinary kind. Have the net out before you get close rather than swapping while chasing it. It also dies to a single stray hit from anything, so do not go swinging at enemies nearby with the critter still fluttering around.

A Lifeform Analyzer is the difference between finding these and never noticing them, since it names the critter as soon as one is within range.

It works as bait, and it is a waste. Bait of that grade is easy to come by from ordinary bugs, while this one is an ingredient in the Golden Delight, the strongest food buff in the game. Burning a gold critter on one fishing cast means going back out to wait for another rare spawn.
