It has almost nothing in the way of health and anything hostile in the water will kill it by accident. Clear the area first, then close in with the net out. Once it is inside a cage the critter is locked there for good unless you shimmer the furniture back apart.

Release it on dry land and it simply stops, frozen in place. It will not suffocate or die, so a stranded one can be scooped back up whenever you get round to it.
