Journeyman Baitx2-6
Master Baitx2-6why fish for these
The guaranteed slot is the whole reason to bother. Every crate hands over something you would otherwise have to smash a Crimson Heart to get, and breaking hearts has consequences you may not want yet: a meteorite drops somewhere on the map, and enough of them wakes up the Perforators. Fishing gets you the same loot quietly, on your own schedule, as many times as you like.
Look at that guaranteed pool honestly, though. Most of it is early gear you replaced long before you could fish these up. Realistically you are here for the Panic Necklace if you never found one, the light pet if you collect them, and everything happening in the background: Ichor without hunting down Ichor Stickers, Souls of Night without a trip into the underground Crimson, and Hardmode bars arriving faster than you can mine them.
two things the table hides
- Ore and bars are each rolled once. A single crate will not give you both an early metal and a Hardmode one, even though the two pools sit on separate rows.
- Shimmer runs the crate backwards into its pre-Hardmode version, which is the easy way to get early Crimson loot in a world that has already moved on.
