Used to craft
no slot required
This never needs an accessory row. Drop it in a void bag and forget it and you get the full effect, so owning one costs you nothing after the purchase. The only thing a real slot buys is the ability to reforge it, which is not worth the space.
it is a survival tool, not just a builder tool
Wire visibility sounds like something only base builders care about. The bigger use is not walking into traps. Temples and the Dungeon are laced with pressure plates feeding darts, spears and boulders, and with this in your bag the wiring shows up well before you step on the trigger. Carry wire cutters alongside it and the traps turn into free mechanisms instead of a health bar problem.
the toggles do real work
Each wire color can be set to glow, sit at normal brightness, or fade back, and there is a separate switch for whether wires show at all times or only while you hold something mechanical. On a build with four colors crossing the same corridor, dimming the ones you are not editing is the difference between a readable diagram and noise.
