Multicolor Wrench

One tool covers all four colors, and it works anywhere on screen rather than within arm reach. The radial menu is the real feature: tick as many colors as you like and every click acts on all of them at once, so a four color trunk line goes down in a single pass instead of four. It also toggles between laying and pulling, and anything you pull goes straight to your inventory rather than dropping on the ground, which matters when you are stripping a trap that sits over lava.

• No actuator removal, despite being built out of a tool that has it. Keep the Wire Cutter on you or you will be stuck the first time you want an actuator back.
• It is a stopgap rather than an endpoint. If you are going to keep building machinery, put the gold toward The Grand Design instead, since that folds in the wrench, the cutter and the ruler together.
