How to craft it
one slot instead of two
The point of any hamaxe is inventory space, and this one arrives exactly when you are hauling ore up from Hell and short on room. It chops and it hammers, so a trip that used to need two tools now needs one. It also glows on its own, brightly enough that swinging it lights the tunnel ahead and dropping it marks where you stopped digging.
The catch is speed. Its raw chopping power outclasses several Hardmode axes, which sounds like it should carry you well past the Wall of Flesh, but the swing is slow enough that a weaker, faster tool fells a tree sooner. Keep it for the convenience and the light, not because it is the best axe you own.
reforging it
Do not burn money chasing the top modifier. Rounding means several cheaper rolls land on exactly the same mining speed, so take the first decent one the Goblin offers and walk away.
