Cursed shuts off your ability to use items at all. No weapon, no potion, no hook, just running until it wears off. In the Dungeon, where the things that inflict it drift through walls and come from angles you cannot see, that gap is how runs end. This removes it outright.

The enemies that drop it exist on both sides of the Wall of Flesh, but the pre-Hardmode Dungeon is by far the cleaner farm. Once the world flips, the Dungeon fills with new spawns competing for the same slots and your cursed skull kill rate falls off a cliff. Get it while the old Dungeon is still quiet.

A nazar is the blue eye charm sold across the Middle East and the Mediterranean to turn aside the evil eye, the harm supposedly carried by an envious or admiring look. The Arabic word behind it means sight.
