Rock Lobster

Fish a desert lake for crates or a quest fish and these come up over and over. There is nothing rare about them, and they are the main reason desert fishing feels slow when you are after something specific.

A Sonar Potion is the fix. It shows you what has taken the hook before you reel, so you can let the lobster go and recast rather than watching the animation play out. On a long fishing session in one biome that potion saves more time than any rod upgrade.

Spiny lobsters really are called rock lobsters, so the creature design is straight. The tooltip is the joke: it points at the B-52s single from 1978, where the punchline of the song is a swimmer realizing the thing next to them was never a rock.
