Shrimp

Ocean fishing throws these up often enough to matter, and they are worth more than most of what shares that pool. If you are already running ocean lines for crates or the Reaver Shark, the shrimp pile up on the side and cover the cost of bait several times over.

It is not the ingredient for the Shrimp Po' Boy, despite every reason to assume otherwise, so do not sit on a stack waiting for that recipe to unlock. What it does feed is Puffer Shrimp. Beyond a few for that, everything else should go to a merchant.
