One extra block of reach sounds like nothing until you are laying a long platform bridge and every tile placed is one less step walked. Building range bonuses add together, so this goes on top of an Extendo Grip or an Architect Gizmo Pack rather than overlapping with them, and the full stack turns a fiddly build into something you can do without moving much.

The catch is the source. It only comes out of Presents, which means the Christmas window, which means either waiting for the date or moving your system clock. If you are opening presents for the seasonal weapons anyway you will trip over one, but nobody farms them for this.

It does nothing in a fight, so it belongs in a builder loadout you swap in, not in your combat slots.
