Weak shaves a little damage and defense off you and it wears off quickly. Nobody has ever lost a fight to it, and dedicating an accessory slot to blocking it is a waste of the slot. Equip it once, notice nothing, and take it back off.

The value is entirely in what it builds into. It combines toward Armor Bracing, which feeds the Ankh Charm, which becomes the Ankh Shield. That shield carries you through the rest of Hardmode, and this is one of the base components gating it, so every one you see is worth the detour to kill.

Both Corruption and Crimson worlds have a source, so nobody needs to trade for it any more. Better still, a spare can be dropped in Shimmer to flip it into Armor Polish and back again. If duplicates keep landing while the other half of the recipe refuses to drop, that conversion saves you hours of hunting.
