The Vortex Pillar has to be down first, so this lands at the very end of a run when most of your gear decisions are already made. Fragments pile up faster than the armor and weapons consume them, and dye is a reasonable sink for the excess.

The effect is a green energy warp that runs across whatever you put it on. It pairs naturally with the matching armor if you want the outfit to read as one piece, and it is bright enough on dark cloth that people assume it is emitting light when it is not.
