The larva in a hive is a one-shot trigger, and hunting down a fresh hive every time you want another Queen Bee kill gets old fast. This is the fix. The ingredients all come out of hives you have already cleared, so one thorough trip through the Underground Jungle usually leaves you set up for several rematches.
The bigger gain is where you fight her. A hive is a cramped bubble full of honey and larva spawns, and her charge is brutal in that space. Summoning her yourself lets you pick an open surface jungle arena with room to run sideways, which is most of what the fight asks of you.
It only works in the jungle, surface or underground, so you cannot drag her back to an arena built somewhere else.
the name
It folds abomination and bee together, and the sprite is the crafting ingredients mashed into a rough bee shape.
