None of this needs an accessory slot. Sitting in your inventory or a Void Bag is enough, which is the whole reason informational gear is worth carrying at all. In a team, anyone standing near you reads off your copy without owning one.

Fishing power is the readout that actually changes decisions. Bait, rod, weather and time all collapse into one figure, so you can see at a glance whether burning a rare bait is doing anything, or whether waiting out the rain would help you more than a better rod would. Without it people fish for an hour at half the power they could have had and never know.

The three components all come out of the Angler reward pool, which is luck. Shimmer removes most of the pain: those three transmute into one another in a loop, so a duplicate is never dead weight. Whichever one you keep pulling can be turned into whichever one you are still missing.
