Information accessories work from your bags, so this never competes with a real accessory for a slot. Drop it in the void bag and forget it exists. The only thing you give up by not equipping it is the modifier, which on a readout is worth nothing.

The rare creature line is the one that changes how you play. It warns you that something like a mimic or a nymph is close before it gets the jump on you, which is the difference between hunting a biome mimic and being flattened by one you walked past. The enemy count is a farm diagnostic: if the number never climbs, something is eating your spawn rate, usually a town NPC nearby or blocks you forgot to clear. The kill counter is for banner grinding and not much else.

The display reaches teammates standing near you, so one person carrying it covers the whole group while you sweep the same area. Split up across the map and everyone else goes blind again.
