Flame Waker Boots

Pure cosmetics: a trail of fire off your heels whenever you move along the ground. It carries over onto minecarts when the track is laid flat on solid tiles, which is the one place the effect really reads at speed. Dyes recolor the flames, so it can be matched to an outfit instead of always burning orange.

The trail cuts out while you walk on water unless the water is barely a tile deep. Worth knowing if you were planning to combine it with a water walking setup for the look.

Put it in a social slot. There is no stat to gain and nothing to reforge, so the functional slot is better spent elsewhere. It is also the only vanity accessory that doubles as a crafting ingredient, so check what it feeds into before selling spares.
