The tooltip borrows from Mellow Yellow, a Donovan song from 1966 that got tangled up in a rumor about smoking banana peel, which is the joke behind pairing the line with a banana. The drink itself is a blended cocktail, which is why the sprite looks more like a slushie than anything you would pour. It has since traveled the other way as well and shows up inside Don't Starve Together.
