By the time you can build this, most of your movement comes from wings and mounts, so the draw is reach rather than raw speed. All four lines can be out at once, which means you can anchor across a wide gap, keep one line planted while you fire the next, and pull yourself along a cave roof without ever touching the ground.

The colors always fire in the same rotation: orange first, then green, pink, and blue. That reads as decoration until you want a particular one. Shoot hooks into open air to burn through the ones you do not care about, and the next one latches in the color you were after. Run the whole cycle and you can end up hanging from four matching lines.
