Master Ninja Gear
Allows the ability to climb walls and dash Gives a chance to dodge attacks
How to craft it
three abilities, one slot
This ends the mobility discussion for the rest of a playthrough. Double tap a direction and you cover ground instantly, walls turn into surfaces you can cling to and slide down, and a share of incoming hits simply do not land. The dodge is the part you notice least and would miss most, because it fires on the hits you never saw coming.
dash details
The dash covers roughly twice the ground of a Shield of Cthulhu but hits nothing on the way. Ramming an enemy mid dash only means you take the contact damage, so use it to leave a space rather than to enter one. It also snaps you straight to full running speed, which pairs neatly with Hermes Boots and everything built on them. There is a short recharge between dashes, so treat it as an escape tool rather than a way of moving around.
what does not stack
- The dodge chance does not add on top of a Black Belt. Wearing both wastes a slot.
- Dyes color the smoke puff left behind by a dodge but leave the dash untouched.
- If you want the ram back, dash first and then mount something that charges, such as a Unicorn.
