Palladium Sword

This is the opening hardmode broadsword for anyone whose world rolled palladium instead of cobalt, and its job is to hold the slot until something better falls out of a boss. It swings heavier and slower than the Cobalt Sword, which suits a corridor fight or a single tough target more than it suits carving through a crowd.

It has no autoswing of its own, so put a Power Glove on before deciding you hate it. Manual clicking is what makes early hardmode swords feel far worse than their numbers.

Plan to retire it quickly. The mechanical bosses and the jungle both hand out melee weapons that leave first-tier ore behind, so do not pour reforge money into this one.
