the autoswing is the real effect
The percentages are the small part of this accessory. What it actually does is give autoswing to every melee weapon and whip in the game, including the heavy broadswords that otherwise want one click per hit. If you shelved a sword because your wrist gave out before the boss did, put this on and try it again.
Whips benefit just as much, which matters for summoners who are cracking away at something for a long fight.
stacking gloves
The various glove accessories add their percentage bonuses together, but the knockback multiplier and the size increase do not stack, so wearing two of them for those effects is wasted slots. The sensible path is to fold this into the combined versions: it feeds the Berserker's Glove line and eventually the Fire Gauntlet, which keeps the autoswing while giving you back the accessory space.
