Coin Ring

It folds the pull range of the Gold Ring together with the bonus payouts of the Lucky Coin and adds a little luck on top. The pull range is what makes the combination work: coins fly to you from across the room, so you never have to walk into the pile you just made and never lose drops down a shaft.

The bonus triggers on hits, not kills, which is the detail the whole farm rests on. Wall yourself into a small box, point a swarm of cheap summons at an event, and money accumulates while you stand still. A Slime Staff swarm hitting constantly outperforms a single hard-hitting minion. Pick an event where nothing shoots, like the Frost Legion, and the box never gets tested.

Solar Eclipses are the richest target and they get dangerous after Plantera, since the later roster includes enemies that walk straight through walls. Your safe box stops being safe. If eclipse farming is the plan, do it while the spawn list is still made of things that have to come through the door.

Combined with the Discount Card it becomes the Greedy Ring, which is the version you actually want to end up wearing.
