Martian Conduit Plating

You can only collect this during a Martian Madness, since nearly every enemy in the invasion drops it and nothing outside the invasion does. When it ends, your supply is whatever you kept. The only recovery route is breaking the platforms and wall back down into blocks, which means overbuilding and then tearing your own work apart. Work out roughly what your build needs before you trigger the event, then gather well past that figure.

In an unlit room it pulses on its own, which is enough light for a corridor without hanging anything on the walls. Hit it, mine it or grapple it and it throws off bright sparks, a trait it shares only with Echo Blocks and does far more visibly. The surface pattern lines up with Luminite Bricks, so the two tile together cleanly in any late game build with a space theme.
