One trip to the Moon Lord will not fund a finished loadout. Building out everything tied to a single fragment color, meaning the armor, the wings, the pickaxe and the hamaxe, takes several fights worth of ore, so pick the line you actually intend to play before you start spending. Splitting your first few kills across all four colors leaves you with four half-built sets and nothing that works.

The mining tool is usually the smartest first purchase. Once one is in hand there is nothing left in the world you cannot break, and every later build project moves faster.

• The wings from this line are the only craftable pair that skip Souls of Flight entirely, which matters if you never bothered farming Wyverns.
• If you are cashing out a stockpile, do not vendor the raw bars. Turning the ore into Void Monoliths first pays far more for the same material.
